This was only our first visit, but I couldn't be happier! The office was clean and cheerful, and each member of the staff was friendly, efficient, and accommodating. One reviewer complained that they were discouraged from being in the exam area with their child, but I believe that may have been a miscommunication or one-time incident. I double-checked that I would be able to stay with my son when I made the appointment, and the staff member assured me I would, and even encouraged me to bring my baby daughter along, assuring me that neither I, the baby, nor the stroller would be in the way. When I arrived, that was absolutely the case, and they even invited the father of a teenage, repeat patient to accompany his daughter if he chose. No problems to report! UPDATE: I believe the reviewer who I mentioned above was probably there for treatment, not a routine exam. The treatment rooms are small, and there are only two seats--one for the dentist, and one for the technician. Although l had the option of standing in the room, they do recommend parents wait in the nearby private waiting rooms (complete with a comfy chair and movie-playing tv). The waiting room is located just across the hall, and they kept both doors opened and encouraged me to pop into the treatment room as often as needed. The doctor and technician also updated me periodically during the procedures. Towards the end of the appointment, my son was a little distressed, and the doctor encouraged me to stay by his side, allowing us to finish treatment as planned. And all of this was with a baby on my hip!
We have been to the queen creek office several times and they’re always great. The front desk staff is always friendly and smiling. The wait has never been extremely long. I called the on call dentist when my child chipped her tooth on the weekend and he instructed me on what to do and watch for and got us in the office first thing Monday morning. The assistants and the dentists are all great with kids. They ask fun questions and keep them busy and engaged so they’re not afraid. They have options for those kids who are afraid and let younger ones sit on parent’s lap when the dentist is looking at their teeth. When we had to do a filling and the dentist patiently explained all options and answered all my questions without rushing me. When in the treatment rooms the dentist gave the option of standing in the room or sitting in a separate waiting room nearby but never made me feel as though I was wrong in staying in the room (the treatment rooms are small so I understand why they don’t have chairs for parents in them) and the waiting room with a chair is only about 3 feet away. We have always been treated fairly and with respect at this office.
