Astrid Chan

Astrid has come weekly to our home to teach our 3 kids for almost 5 years now. She is a wonderful teacher and pianist. I admire her infinite patience with the kids. She adapts her teaching to the interests and skills of her students, gives them homework and (in our case) always starts the lessons with some group work and a brief meditation session. She also prepares them for recitals and organizes one for her students every year.

Astrid is my piano teacher. She is really good at helping you with anything related to piano: We for instance play classical music such as Fur Elise and at other times we improvise and play the blues. She is not a very strict teacher: She encourages you to play the genres that you like. I enjoy playing the piano and value her lessons.
