We wintered here in part because it had among the lowest monthly rates in Tucson metro area and we had stayed there once before while traveling through. Well-run park with gravel sites and some paved streets. Has nice programs for winter residents including regular group meals at reasonable prices, weekly movies, games, etc. Great staff. Occasional rowdies were promptly expelled. Because near air base it was a bit farther than some places from supermarkets and other urban amenities. Verizon access poor even with cheap antenna for our hotspot, AT&T better. WIFI typical for a campground. Nice feature is directly adjacent desert for walking and birding, and the Tucson regional multi-use trail system about 1/4 mile away for longer walks and bike connections. If you seek luxury and concrete pads this is not your spot. More like camping. Has some ($$) shaded sites under new solar panel installation.

Enjoyed staying here with my sister. Had fun with all the activities. Miss seeing grass. Very clean.
