My husband and I visited Evident Life Church on and off for several months. We wept openly after the service and during prayer meetings as we had been through - and were still going through - some very difficult times. The senior pastor, Eric Jones, never once called or reached out to us though he saw us weep on several occasions. The Church was very small at the time. When we expressed hurt and disappointment before we left, Eric was cold as ice and simply said that he would pray for us to have peace. He expressed no concern whatsoever and made no effort to mend. During the months we visited Evident Life and several months later when we visited again, Eric seemed preoccupied with the music, his own agenda and building relationships with people who were important to him. In fact, the music was so loud it hurt our ears. They even had a microphone on the drums in the small space they held services in. When we asked him if the volume could be turned down a little, he told us that his church had been "called to reach out to the youth". What about caring for all ages, loving all people and being a "servant of all"? We were in our early fifties at the time and, as I said before, the church was very small. Needless to say, my husband and I felt very insignificant and expendable at Evident Life. We could not recommend this church.
Awesome church!
