Mesa / Apache Junction KOA Journey

We would have loved to stay here except that we had to cancel 47.65 hours before the 48 hour deadline. The 48 hour deadline is arbitrary due to lack of specific cancelation notice time on website. Nancy Schnabel, the owner, refused to refund our deposit and quite frankly was a poor representation to the caring, welcoming hosts we’ve experienced at other KOA sites across America. If she needs the deposit that much, she can have it and take customer service classes and a manners course with the money. Happy camping folks and may your plans never need changing.

Seems like a good campground. Quiet and level camping spots and I don't feel like we're on top of our neighbors. Facility is well kept.
