Mimi's Cafe

When I came in to Mimi I informed the host that I was meeting friends for desert in about a half hour, but if I can eat before they get here that would be great. He suggested that I sit at the bar to eat, because a table won't be ready for 35 minutes. So I did. I continually attempted to flag someone behind the bar to order quickly. At first I was ignored then when I finally, 10 minutes later got someone attention, I was told "someone will be with you shortly". After nother 5 minutes, I finally was greeted and my order taken. By the time my guests arrived my plate was being placed in front of me. The food was good, and when we were finally seated at the table the service was very good. However, the service at the bar is awful.

Not too bad of an experience but I would not go back. I asked for a medium well hamburger. Instead they give me a very well done. Not good. Meat very dry. I told the waitress I didn't want diced onions but instead round cut onions. What do I get? Diced onions. And then instead of the waitress bringing the onions she sends this sarcastic manager saying, here's your fresh cold round cut nice onions. Like I said, just because of little sarcastic things like that, you loose customers. Goodbye Mimi...its been nice knowing you.
