North mountain and girl scout mountain are the same place. It just changed nAmes over the years. It is a great place for family to get together. They have ramadas grills tables, and even mountains for kiddos to play on. My family goes and plays laser tag thereon occasion, it's a good time. As far as ramadas go you can reserve one, or try to get one at your own risk. The summer shouldn't be a problem, though the good ones are usually gone on winter spring and fall.
