Not a day goes by where I am not proud to be a small part of this school. Seven years has given me the amazing experience of getting to know-and growing with- some of the best people on this planet...seven years of exploring and discovering what we are truly capable of. New faces are welcomed immediately. As a long time student, I can say that it is so amazing and rewarding to see someone transform right there on the mats. The best part of it is witnessing the ecosystem of students helping other students become stronger and better than they were. We all step on the mat feeling slightly unsure of ourselves, but because we are surrounded by supportive staff and training partners, we soon find ourselves eager to learn more...to push past those boundaries we started with, and embrace training philosophies that we might not have known about, had we listened to our fears in the beginning. And to be a part of that? I don't think there is anything better.
