Safeway

I went in and ordered a birthday cake on the 23rd for my daughter who turned 18 on 12/25. The guy who took my order confirmed they'd be open on 12/25. He took the cake order. Imagine my horror as I sit in the parking lot of a closed Safeway writing this. Why didn't they call me when they saw the order date? My daughter will not have a cake on her milestone birthday. As if having a birthday on Christmas wasn't bad enough. She's never not had birthday cake though...Never again Safeway. This is unforgivable.
