I've been camping every year of my life within a few miles of the Homestead. Boy was it a blessing to end up marrying someone from the Whiting clan (Elda Brown family) and getting to go to reunions and rent the family cabin throughout the summer. Love this part of the forest and having a cabin to stay in is even better. Truly is a special place not many get to enjoy.
