Not so great clips, especially this location, definitely has one of the worst customer service problems I have ever seen! The manager Kristen is severely lacking in people skills, and the stylist Lisa has no knowledge of her craft and should probably retire or go back to school! I am amazed people actually trust this location with their hair care needs! I brought my two sons to this location as a second chance redemption for a different great clips that had messed up our haircuts in the recent past. Clearly, it was a mistake to have tried to revisit the same brand of store!! Upon arrival, I was very clear with what we were looking for, and wanted to make sure that they knew how to perform a proper undercut before they were allowed to touch any of our hair. Apparently this was asking way too much, and a definite sign that I needed to run out the door as fast as possible.....or they were going to royaly mess up all of our hair...again! In speaking with Lisa, I had mentioned that the haircut my boys had was called a "fury fade" and just simply a basic undercut. Lisa took it upon herself to argue with me what the correct definition of a "fade" was. Being the lay person Within the hair are industry, and not knowing or even caring what the correct haircut terminology was, I explained to Lisa that we had experienced the same exact problem
At a different great clips location and that I was not willing to repeat another horrible experience or even let her cut my boys' hair without knowing what she was doing. Sadly enough, I even had pictures of the haircut, and that was still not enough to get the job done! Lisa rudely turned her back to me and stormed away, leaving my family and I standing there waiting for someone else to handle the overwhelming matter!! What a joke!! Lisa couldn't even perform her job with a picture to utilize. Now enters the rude and sarcastic manager Kristen, who had witnessed the entire event, standing not six feet away, cutting another customer's hair. Kristen played dumb to the entire situation, and acted as if there was nothing wrong.....never mind the fact that stylist Lisa had literally just stormed past her! I asked Kristen why here was such a need for the level of disrespect and bad attitudes toward my family and I, and she sarcastically denied that anything had happened. Being completely incompetent with her managerial responsibilities, Kristen ignored me standing there waiting for her to provide some relief and get the corporate office information I had requested, instead choosing to begin helping another customer who was waiting....? Clearly, this particular location is completely inept and lacking in the proper customer service skills needed to provide a friendly, and professional service. Rather, they are prepared for nothing and just simply write you off the second they step out of their realm of comfort....which is clearly not very far!!! After finally getting Kristen to provide the corporate information and asking her to write down her own name and that of the stylist Lisa, she smirked at me, and sarcastically added..."is there any other names you want me to write down." Wow, she actually had the courage to provoke a customer even further, but lacked the basic skill and knowledge to resolve a very simple problem! What a joke!! How did someone such as Kristen, who is severely lacking in any professional capacity able to obtain a status of a manager? Granted, it is just great clips, but still appalling that someone with such an atrocious demeanor can actually fool others to believe she has leadership capabilities. In the end, I was smart enough to deny these jokers the opportunity to provide a service to paying customers, did not allow them to touch my boys' hair, and learned a good lesson, that great clips, especially this particular location, cannot be trusted to perform simple haircuts! This place is a joke, and I would absolutely suggest staying away from it if you value your time, patience, and prefer to have your hair cut by skilled individuals!! They have lost my business for good!
